Jennifer Aniston's first dog hated her

Jennifer Aniston shares the screen with a golden retriever in her new movie 'Marley and Me', insists Jenn had bad experiences with her poodle pal in Jenn Aniston' younger days.

Jennifer Aniston said: "My first pet was Demetri, a white poodle. But he did not like me much because I would always pull on its tail. But I was three, I thought he was a toy."

Aniston added: "There's no dog like him. He's just a person in a furry outfit. I don't even know how to describe him. He's a wise old man who could, with a look, with one stare, could crush me. He's a laser light beaming into my soul."

Unfortunately, Norman (her current furry friend, corgi-terrier cross-breed Norman) doesn't feel the same way about Jennifer's boyfriend John Mayer.

A source said: "It's funny because John likes dogs but for some reason Norman has taken a disliking to him. Jennifer dotes on Norman. She treats him like a child but she's got to the point where she's had to keep him out of the way if John is around."

Jennifer Aniston loves her dog so much, she reportedly splashes out $250 a week on massage, Reiki and acupuncture treatments for the ageing canine.
