Those who want to grab a ticket for the Dubai Rugby Sevens event better be quick off the mark as even though the event doesn’t take place until December tickets usually sell out some time in September. Visitors who do managed to grab a ticket will be in for a real treat as no fewer than 16 major international teams compete each year for the trophy and this is one of the largest and most exciting sports matches to be held anywhere in the Middle East.

National Day Festival

Each year, Dubai celebrates the independence of the United Arab Emirates from Great Britain on December 2nd. The National Day Festival is a vibrant day of celebration as special events are held throughout the day and many of the city’s major monuments are open to the public. The National Day Festival also features a large street parade as well as plenty of dancing, feasting and firework displays. While the festival is celebrated all over the United Arab Emirates, the celebrations are at their most vibrant in Dubai and people travel here from all over the world on this day.
