How to Enable SingTel's Free Mobile Email Service

Yes you did read the subject right. SingTel now allows you to make use of the Free Mobile Email Service. But the service is only limited to SingTel's customers. The new service, called MobileM@il is complemented by ads. The service is totally free since you don't have to pay for data traffic resulted from the use of the service.

You can set up multiple email accounts on your mobile phone. It allows you to receive emails from SingNet, Yahoo!, Gmail and Hotmail accounts right in your mobile. MobileM@il also allows you to send, receive and forward emails while on-the-move; and receive, forward, save and view attachments from your mobile. The service also allows users to save your contacts to a local address book.

Here's how you can sign-up for the free MobileM@il service:
  • visit any SingTel store.
  • access SingTel’s IDEAS WAP portal.
  • dial *36245 (*EMAIL) from your mobile phone.
  • call the Customer Service Hotline by dialing 1626.
