The yet to be released RealPlayer will have amazing features that will include the download of youTube video's right into your desktop and play them as and when you want them - even when offline.

The new release of RealPlayer will be able to rip most of the popular video formats such as Flash, Real, Windows Media and even QuickTime. It is expected to be initially available for Windows and will work with Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers to assist in downloading content right off the websites. The beta version is expected in the near future.

The new RealPlayer will aimed at giving consumers more control of Internet video than was ever possible before. By floating a "download this video" button next to video seen on thousands of Web sites, RealPlayer will make it one-click simple. The new RealPlayer is a major step towards bringing great digital entertainment to more people on more screens around the world in both online and offline modes.

As you can see, more and more applications are now implementing YouTube support into their features because Google's online video sharing service is attracting a considerable number of users.
