Bun B Ripped Pop Montreal!

Both lierally and figuratively, as evidenced by this photo.

But yeah man, this past weekend definitely went down. Big ups to Dan Seligman and everyone at Pop Montreal. All the purveyors of poutine and just good, good Canadian vibes in general.

I got in Thursday and saw Kid Sister with Catchdubs, A-Trak and DJ Chills new best friend Kavinsky, but my camera was messing up so I didn't get any photos. I should be getting some good stuff from Dana Meyerson at Biz 3, Cory Mo and Brian McManus in the days to come and will post them. I'ma say it tho, I'm really not into the whole club rap thang, but you can't really deny that Kid Sister, she's got a real energy that just takes hold of a crowd and won't let go. She whipped that place into a frenzy, word to her. Anyway here's the photos I got. Much less than usual, I need to get my camera checked out. Its messed up.

Anyway this is how I do, homemade cooler full of beer in the hotel shower at all times.

Word to Canadian Beer.

DJ Chill of course also whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

As did Rapid Ric. Awesome side note, they reserved Rics room under his DJ name, as opposed to his real name, but had it backwards in the system so whenever I would callhim I had to ask for "Ric Rapid." Like he's some 70's rock AM radio DJ in Flint, Michigan or some shit. I mean Windsor. Anyway, not that funny I guess.

The homey Melissa made the trek from T-Dot.

SICK BASTARD aka SKRATCH BASTID!

Dude killed it.

Grey Goose on the rider.

Prime of Dirt Work Productions

Bun B freakin' destroyed the place. Amazing show.

I think she got some good shots. But I don't know. I know I did. Word to Dana Meyerson's silhouette.

WHUT IT DEW!

Bun B threw off his hat and jacket to the crowd.

Cory Mo and Prime

Sixtoo!

I've been there.

This is like some mega dumpster or some shit. I don't know why but at 4 am after many beers and a styrofoam bowl full of poutine (look it up, its awesome) I was amazed by this. Maybe it was the hash doobs, I don't know.

Anyway, I got my camera working again on Sunday and took a walk around downtown before getting my plane, here's what I saw.

This is the main house for Pop Montreal registration and such.

And that there's the view from the room. Anyway, it went down, I'll try to write more when I get the other photos.
